LONG TERM ITALIAN COURSES IN 2008
Long term Italian courses are addressed to students who wish to remain for at least 12 weeks. Enrollment in this type of course incurs a price discount. Our long term course is basically an intensive Italian language course which includes four hours of group lessons a day. Based on their level, participants can acquire a basic knowledge of the Italian language or improve and perfect the knowledge they already have. For students who enroll in a 12 week Italian language course we offer a special price of € 1.580,00 (400 Euros less than a normal intensive course) + € 50,00 of application fee and € 22 for the text books and teaching materials. Any other additional week will have a cost of € 130,00.
The application fee grants you the participation in our cultural program and our tandem service. Tandem is a method which allows the expansion and development of your language skills through an inter-linguistic exchange with native speakers. Furthermore, our rich cultural program includes guided tours in Rome, Italian cinema, Italian literature, Italian songwriters, Italian Opera, and outdoors activities like soccer and beach volleyball games. We also organize excursions to other cities every week (Naples, Pompeii, Orvieto, Florence and to the seaside). The costs of these activities can vary according to the length of the excursion.
If you would like to profit from a better price discount while enriching your knowledge of the Italian language upto the highest standards, a 24 week long term Italian course will certainly suit your expectations. In 24 weeks, you will be able to learn the basic linguistic structures of the Italian grammar, pass through our intermediate levels broadening the linguistic base for self-expression and finally on our advanced level, you will master the stylistic elements of Italian including the register and tone of the appropriate aspects of oral and written communication. By the end of your stay in a 12 or 24 week long term course, you will be fluent in Italian and have the capacity to see Italy through your own eyes, understand better the Italian culture and enjoy one of the best times of your life in the Eternal City, Rome.
In order to accomplish a full immersion in Italy you may also choose any of our accommodations options. Either with an Italian family or shared apartment with other students, you will live the experience of speaking Italian and improving your skills everyday.
